Michael B. Mitchell Jr. is a proud native Baltimorean, born and raised in the great Charm City. He graduated from the prestigious and rigorous The Gilman School in 1985. He went on to graduate The Johns Hopkins University, B.A. in History in the year of 1989.
In 1995, Mitchell earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Before entering private practice, Michael Mitchell served as an Assistant City Solicitor and Assistant State's Attorney for the Code Enforcement Division of Baltimore City for 8 years. He is currently a member of both of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Baltimore Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
